It's been a long time!
Morgan is officially 16 weeks old today!!! I can't believe how fast and slow it has gone (if that makes any sense.) She has been a pretty good baby so far, just very needy to the point in the beginning I had a hard time getting a shower in or eating for that matter. She looks a lot like Ben but definitely has my feet! She got baby acne on her face when she was still new and it has gone away, but she has pretty sensitive skin. We took her to the pumpkin patch this last weekend and it was pretty warm. Her little cheeks were pink and had a little heat rash...Both Ben and I have that kind of skin...poor girl! Anyways, I have been extremely busy changing diapers, feeding her, trying to take naps, and listening to a crying baby. She has been drooling and biting down hard on her hands for a month now. I think she is teething because some days, she is soooo cranky! We also got her ears pierced a couple of weeks ago and she did awesome. She doesn't even know that they are there! She has already had a couple sets of shots and she is doing well. She is a pretty big girl, always in the 100th percentile for weight and 95th for height! Right now she is growing out of her 9 month clothes and is in some 12 month ones. I can't believe I am going to have to shop in a different section pretty soon. We did move her into her own room over a month ago and I pretty much hate it. I am so worried about pretty much everything...SIDS, someone breaking in, the list goes on. I just love her. She is becoming a pretty funny girl and giggles a lot now. We sing to CMT music videos like all day and I swear she is trying to sing with me. She loves to be outside and now that the weather is better we can go out more often. She hates her car seat now and cries as soon as we put her in it. Tonight we are going to go get her a bigger convertible car seat so hopefully that will help. Her hair is starting to grow a lot more now and I love it. She loves her bath and as since pretty much the beginning. She loves to be changed and for some reason has always loved laying on her changing table. She sleeps in her crib in the beginning of the night and somehow manages to be in bed with me in the morning. ;) At first, she ate all night long, I swear. Just in the last 2 weeks, she has been sleeping soooo much better and setting up her own schedule. If I let her, she would probably go to sleep for the night around 4! Lately, she has been getting her bath around 6 and is asleep within the hour. She has only been waking up once in the night around 3:30 and then wakes up for good in the morning form 6-7. She usually plays for 2 hours and eats, and takes her first nap. Then she is up for about 3 hours and takes another nap. And one more nap for the day and then it is her bedtime!!! That is our day! Anyways, I wish I had kept up with this blog because I know I am missing some key parts to her growing up, but at least we are updated now!
