Well, I am super behind on posting, but that is nothing new apparently. I have to start off this new post about my ever expanding gut ;) Yes, I am pregnant. I have waited so long to tell everyone about it because of my struggles in the past. I am still extremely nervous to still tell people, even though I can't hide the gut region anymore. I am officially 19 weeks and 4 days today. We were able to find out what we are having this last monday (Valentine's Day). Probably one of the best Valentines day presents ever! We are having a little girl, which are incredibly excited about.

It's a girl!!! |
Our appointment went well. She is healthy and weighing in at a whopping 12 oz. She is already measuring a little bigger than expected, but we are both big people. My due date is officially July 9, but her measurements really put us at July 4. On monday, she was measuring 20 weeks, but I was only 19 weeks 2 days at the appointment. So no surprise, we will probably have a big girl ;)

Femur bone |
Her femur length was measuring at 20 weeks 4 days, head circumference at 19 weeks, abdominal circumference at 20 weeks 5 days, and her heart rate was at 146. Usually she has a faster heart rate at night, but our appointment was early in the morning.

Her little profile. She had her mouth open the whole time! |

And here is her little face looking right at us! |
When the technician first started the ultrasound, I was a little worried because her spine looked like a curved half circle :( I asked her what was wrong with the baby, and she told me she was curled in a little ball sleeping. So the technician jiggled my gut a little and up sprung our baby. She was moving and straightened out so we could get a good look at her.

Her sleeping position! |
I have gained 8 pounds so far, which I know I will gain plenty more. I haven't been sick at all this whole pregnancy, which is so awesome. The only things I could say I really crave is fruit and salad. I don't even feel like anything too sweet, which is so unlike me. Every time I eat it, my stomach gets really upset. I am so, so happy. I can't wait to have a baby. I will quit my job so I can stay at home all the time. I just can't wait, but keep praying. I am still so nervous something bad might happen.
