37 weeks 5 days appointment!!

Well today I had my weekly doctor appointment and it went fairly well. The baby is doing great. Her heartbeat was 158 and my blood pressure was great. I gained my pound back that I had lost last week which is okay. I was super sweaty because it is like 113 degrees here and I was nervous. The tech asked if I wanted to get checked and I said yes of course. I want this to be over with!!! Well that was super uncomfortable. The doctor checked me and I am 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced which is good. That means the baby is for sure doing something. She even touched her head because she is so low. The doctor said that because she is so low, I would have a good chance of having her naturally instead of C-Section which is awesome. I have another appointment next Thursday and she told me that if I have not gone into labor before then, she will do a more aggressive exam. I asked how aggressive because today was not that fun already....Basically she would stick her fingers inside the cervix and strip the membranes to make me start cramping and hopefully go into labor...I am just thinking that I may need to get drunk before this next appointment ;) J/K...I would never do that but I can wish ;)  So I am hoping the baby is born in July, which that Friday would be July 1st!!!! So hopefully it happens then. One other thing I have been having the last couple of weeks, is really sharp pains in the groin and carpal tunnel. Weird but I guess it happens to a lot of pregos!!!
